About Etherlive

Etherlive was formed by a team of people who broke away from a Fortune 100 company where they had spent many years developing, deploying and supporting leading edge solutions in one of the world's most demanding organisations. With the addition of event professionals and business advisors, who joined the team at the start, Etherlive encompasses a broad range of skills with a dynamic culture focused on delivery.

Philosophy

One of the reasons we formed Etherlive was to get back to delivering great solutions for customers that meet their needs in a timely fashion. With that in mind we are driven by three tenets:

  • Agility - We do not like to say no if we can avoid it. Our desire is to work with the customer to fix their problems in the most efficient way
  • Innovation - We strive to constantly improve and develop our solutions, looking for creative ways to fix problems and deliver new services.
  • Professionalism - As simple as just do it right! Use the right approach, communicate and deliver .

Business Management

At the heart of the company is a core team that has many years of experience in a number of different environments ranging from small start-ups through to multi-billion dollar enterprises. The team works closely with external advisors to develop the company in a controlled, manageable way. The team is highly experienced in global operations with several members having lived and worked around the globe.

Project Management

The nature of our business requires us to run complex projects in demanding environments to tight timescales. Our project managers learnt their trade doing just that in a complex global corporation. To show our commitment to project management all of our project managers are PRINCE 2 Practitioner qualified and we employ a sensible approach to applying these processes based on the size and complexity of each individual project.

Technical Management

Technology is core to our business but we do not believe in just using technology for the sake of it. We select products and develop our solutions to deliver what the customer requires in the most efficient way. Our technical team maintain a highly professional set of skills with regular training and certification programs such as Microsoft MCSE. Over the years individuals in the team have developed world leading solutions for wireless, security, enterprise email, manageability and e-commerce.

Service Management

Many of our projects do not end after implementation, they continue into an ongoing service relationship. Understanding the full life cycle of products and service is key with clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs), escalation procedures, issue tracking and reporting. We base our approach on the ITIL framework with members of the team ITIL Foundation certified.
