Formed in 2007, Etherlive is a specialist event IT company based in Wiltshire designing, implementing and supporting both temporary and permanent IT solutions for the events industry. The philosophy of the company was to take a team of highly experienced IT personnel who had delivered business critical systems for a very demanding Fortune 100 company and focus them on delivering first class solutions for the events industry, using both off the shelf products and in-house developed technologies.

Offering customers an end-to-end service, Etherlive supports event organisers and venue managers as they deal with the challenges of connectivity, security, communications and monitoring across large and complex venues. Etherlive works with customers as a technology partner to identify the right solution for their requirements and is not tied to one equipment vendor, preferring to be supplier agnostic, and can therefore ensure the most appropriate equipment from a range of manufacturers is considered. Etherlive typically work with industry leaders such as Axis, Panasonic, Ruckus, Cisco, Microsoft, Intel, Xirrus and Meru. Etherlive also has significant experience in areas of more wide-ranging IT including physical networking, fibre optics, switching, Windows & Linux servers and general IT efficiency.

With a broad and profound knowledge of IT backed by many years of experience, Etherlive offers a range of solutions to the events market including a temporary wireless POD system which can be deployed to deliver wireless network access across sites in excess of 300 acres. Innovation is at the core of the company approach and is reflected in products such as the Smart Power Supply, designed and developed by Etherlive to deal with the uncertainties of power on event sites providing mains, battery and solar switching all with remote monitoring and control. In 2009 Etherlive launched a next generation tower light, the Ecolite P +, with integrated wireless, CCTV and public address. In 2008 Etherlive was a finalist in the Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards, in 2009 Etherlive were shortlisted in the European wide Red Herring Technology Awards and in 2010 Etherlive were shortlisted in the Exhibition News Awards for ‘Innovation of the Year’.
