Service Manager
We are seeking an individual with experience of the events industry and enthusiasm for technology. The Event Service Manager will be responsible for the site management of major events in London and across the UK including management of crew and relationship with the client.
You will need to display a high level of organisational skills and professionalism.
The Events Service Manager is a home based role, attending the company’s head office in Wiltshire as required. There will be a requirement to travel to and work from event locations for periods of time.
Contractual details
Wiltshire or London based
6-8 months fixed term contract starting 2012 (with potential to convert to full time)

The right candidate will need to:

- have experience of managing project budgets

- be technically aware of the IT in place
- have excellent communication/influencing and negotiation skills
- have strong leadership and proven people management skills
- there are no moving deadlines in the events industry. You will need the ability to work under pressure to deadlines whilst maintaining a good sense of humour and a can do, positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Educated or experienced to Degree standard with a minimum of 5 years IT service/project management experience.
- Valid UK work visa
- Full UK driving license
